Surgery Scheduled

Saturday Night:  Dr. K. says Wednesday at 8:00 am is Melissa's scheduled surgery.  He wants her to have all the time she needs to stabilize from the dissection she's suffered.

Yes we are scared.  Of course.  Open heart surgery is serious business.  I think I'm just as anxious about the effect that the meds are having on Melissa.  She's usually vibrant and energetic.  But with Nurses keeping her BP under 100, she's really sluggish and sedated.  One day at a time I guess.
